Say "Cheese"

Fancy

Hey, there's my Mom.

You're right...Oh man, she's got her camera and I have my ragged halter on that YOU ripped up. I have GOT to have a heart-to-heart with my Mom about this halter. I have an image to maintain, after all.

Hum, maybe if I put up my ears and show my "good" side...

Oh who cares about these photos. This is boring.

Barrel Lessons

Okay, well maybe not everyone was practicing barrels.

It's a Boy!!! He's a couple of hours old in these pictures.

April 2008

Ah, there's nothing like the first spring ride in the outside arena. The weather is warm and smells so fresh, it's good to be outside again, the balmy breeze is blowing through your hair, you're having the ride of your life...then...the impossible happens...right in the middle of the biggest mud puddle in the arena...and as luck would have it, two different people have cameras with them.

Can you say "Pied Chicken Piper"

Below are photos taken on misc. dates through February and March 2008.

February 2nd was a picture practice day in the indoor arena, always an exposure challange, which is why practice is essential.

T, who normally rides english, decided to take a spin around the barrels and ride western. "I'll look just like the pros and lean when I go around the barrel". Ah, T, I think you might need to re-think the direction of that lean.
(Don't worry about the green feet, remember practice makes mistakes, and this time it was lens flare.)

That's better.

Now picking up a little speed with it...looking good T.

Kane (the horse below), likes jumping and is wondering why he is being asked to bend his big body around this cylindrical white thing.

Way to go

Now for some panning practice.

Nice canter.

Wow, look at that extended trot.
